Dallas Homebuyer Assistance Program (DHAP) 

The DHAP provides financial assistance to low- and moderate-income homebuyers purchasing a home within Dallas city limits. Assistance is offered as a second lien, forgivable loan, with amounts up to:

$60,000 for homes in high-opportunity areas

$50,000 for homes in other areas

Eligibility Criteria:

Household income between 60% and 80% of the Dallas Area Median Family Income

U.S. citizen or permanent resident status

The property must be within Dallas city limits

Maximum property values:

$228,000 for existing homes

$246,000 for new construction

 

Program Status:

As of now, the DHAP is closed to new applicants.  New funding is anticipated.  Have your Realtor reach out to find when!
